#A26: Akari (Classic, RGB, Regional)
It's that time of year again! I expect to be relatively busy tomorrow, so I'm sending all these puzzles closer to the expected timeframe rather than when it's actually the correct day by my calendar. You can expect to see future advent posts later than expected, since I'm going to try to make the rest of the puzzles during the respective day.
One of my favorite ideas from Akari is how naturally the logic can depend on the grid layout, leading to the potential for maximal/minimal set logic in unexpected places.

I had some prior experience with solving RGB Akari, but this was my first time making one. While the use of colored lights is an interesting expansion on the core idea, I often found myself more restricted in setting due to having to force the colors of bulbs that otherwise wouldn't see clues. There are a few interesting deductions I've learned for this genre, but I'd consider it on average relatively easier to solve than normal Akari.

This was my first time learning about Regional Akari. I respect the idea to use regional clues because it takes advantage of all the different set-based ideas that are baked into the original genre. I found it a bit difficult to set, but I'm willing to blame my own inexperience on that, since I have seen some cool puzzles for this variant genre.
