Puzzletober 2026: Trophy

With the setting sun to their backs, the logicians enter the fortress foyer, which doubles as a trophy room. All about the room are glass cases with various artifacts neatly stowed inside. At the back of the room is a door, this time locked with proper security. The door's lock uses the same boxy font as the drawer in the royal archives, but there's only four digits and the lock was installed upside-down. Renn asks Felix, "Another dead end? Would you tell me that we've wasted time again?" Felix considers his answer carefully before he says, "I find it likely that the answer may be somewhere in this room, much like a key placed beneath the rug outside a home." Not much later after he says this, Troll 1 enters the room. He walks in the general direction of a case containing four cups and trips toward it. His fall shatters the case and throws its contents out of kilter. With Renn and Felix now looking in his direction, he gets up, brushes himself off, and pretends to look concerned. He says, "Oh no, I messed up the goblets! Neward is going to fire me for this!" He walks back to his post while laughing to himself.
